Hi everyone, I installed a set of shrick 256 cams and a euro 50mm manifold over the weekend. My first driving impressions are just OK. I don't know if the car is any faster. Its just that the power is moved to 5000+. I am fairly certain that I have everything dialed in properly, timing etc. I haven't checked the dpr current, because well, I can't find my harness. The car also bucks slightly when crusing at 1000 rpm in 1st. I have heard of this before. Is this a cam thing? (I think my scirocco did this.) What do you guys think of the cams you are running? I was just hoping for the car to be a little quicker out of the hole. My engine is a bit high mileage so I really don'e like pulling the tach passed 7K and off the end. Although there is power there now. Maybe I need a cam gear to bring the power down. Where do your cars pull from. This set up doesn't really start hammering till 5K. If it didn't take me a sunday to get them in there, I think I'd already gone back to stock. Whats wrong with me?
