There is no reason to completely remove it. No matter what you do no 16v
motor is going to make power above 8500rpm...Let alone reach that rpm
without self destructing. I know you can use a chip on the Moronic cars but
I think you have to go aftermarket on the earlier cars. MSD makes something
you can probably use.
