Definitely go with the VR6 strut bearings. My stock bearings went 100 miles after I installed my Koni/GC combination. As for the solid mount, I'd stay away from it unless you want your car to shake to bits. I put a solid poly rear mount in mine and it vibrates the car pretty badly. Now my gf hates riding in it even more than before, which is a feat in itself.
