So can anyone recommend any brands. I think I'll probably change mine to SS
when I do my 2 year brake fluid change in January.

SS brake lines are worth the cost. Their immediate value is that
they provide a very firm brake pedal b/c the lines cannot swell like
rubber hoses. In the long run, b/c the lines cannot swell, you won't
encounter an exploding brake line at "the wrong time". You may want
to look for DOT approval although I'm not sure what that entails.
Otherwise SS brake lines are all mostly the same.
