I spent 6 hours getting home from the city today, we were locked in our building (midtown near Empire State) for two hours from 9:45am - 11:45am. Only way out of the city was via ferry (to NJ), and there was obviously a wait. Most of the city is completely closed, as are most businesses. Let me tell you, the NYC area is an absolute mess. They havent even started sifting through the rubble yet, and won't have a definitive word on casualties until at least thursday (but Giuliani is estimating 'more than anyone can imagine') God bless all that have family/friends involved, we will work through this...
