I was able to get Neuspeed wires from Ultra Performance (they advertise in
EC) for about $82. That was a few years ago, but still cheaper than stock
wires or any other aftermarket wire out there.

Hey guys,
I would appreciate it if someone could recommend a quality plug wire
for my 89 gti 16v. I'm looking to spend less than 100.00
Have lots to do on lots of cars....so money is tight. Just got this gti
last week and want to first get it running decent, then work on its
appearance.
Question#2...The gti turns about 2,500 rpms in 5th gear going 50 mph.
50 mph in 4th gear turns 3,000 rpms. Is this how they turn from
or do you think modifications have been made.
