- I already did. Why am I stubborn? Because I've had different experiences
from yours? I don't doubt what you say, I'm just telling you that your
experience is not the norm.

<<(it's not my car), keep in mind that I have nearly the

same chart from my car (almost exactly), and show me dyno charts of your

'87-89 GTI 16V's that don't have that and I'll believe you.>>
- Okay, Clay, I have enough experience driving and working on VW's to know
when they're pulling and when they're not. My friends still have both of
their CIS-E 2.0 16V's. Even though I don't have dyno charts (nor the time or
money to get them), I can tell you that both cars pull really well past
6000rpms. One of them has stock cams and no fuel enrichment, and still pulls
easily to 6300 rpms. It does NOT die off at 5500rpms.

Right now, you

are saying your butt dyno is more reliable than a DynoJet and that dosen't

really cut it for me. >>

- First of all, that dynojet hasn't dyno'd MY friend's car, it dyno'd YOUR
friend's car. You cannot assume that the results will be the same for
another car.
Feast your eyes on this dyno chart. A Scirocco 16V w/CIS-E, a ported head,
276 cams, and a stock muffler. Looks like it's pullin' pretty darn good at
the top end.
(the web site states that this car is running w/CIS-E)

Side note: one of my friend's 16Vs had trouble revving to redline for a
while. Problem turned out to be the coil. We did the electrical tests and
it didn't pass. Replaced it, and it was revving perfect again.
