Looks like my dads GTI after he hit a guy that ran a red light. I think
he'd just gotten it, too. Brand new... He took it in to the body shop and
had it all fixed up, can't remember how much that cost him...
What's Daren planning on doing with it?

The metal one is designed to crumple up very

My friend Daren totalled his '91 GTI on friday. He broadsided a Porsche
Boxter that ran a stop sign. He was travelling at about 50mph, and he
walked away from the accident with bumps and bruises. And I agree that the
hood took alot of the impact...

Guys, please wear your seatbelt, and make sure your passengers do, too. And
if you have those stupid passive restraints(belts attached to the door),
switch them out ASAP. Daren and I are both convinced that's what saved him
from further injuries.
