Well I guess it depends on your and what you intend to do with your ride.
Couple years ago, when I was really into cross-country mountain biking, I
remember buying a set of titanium bolts for my bike for about 225$. And
now, when ever I rebuilt my engine intended for performance, I buy some ARP
high quality bolts which are stronger and who you can really depend on. And
sometimes, it not much more than buying some original vw parts at the
dealer. But you get bolts that will take way more abuse than original.
