1.8 head will say Pl , 9a head will say 9A . Uhm you have an 86 gli right ?

I was wondering if there is a way to differentiate a 1.8L 16v head to
a
2.0L 16v head? Is there a different code on the head? I need to find a
1.8L head for myself, and someone has one to sell. I just want to make
sure
it's really a 1.8L head. Thanks.
