U can't swap sides of the car as far as door handles go.
However, u can do front to back. In a pinch, u could probably use a rear
handle on the front, but u would loose the ability to lock the car from the
driver's side.
New handles are only $15 from AAB. Definitely not bank breakers...

My driver's side door handle pulled slightly away from the door last
night. Does this mean the door handle should be replaced or is is more
likely something has just come loose. I hear about people having door
handle problems all the time, but do they really need new handles? If it
breaks and I don't have a replacement handy can I swap with the passenger
side?
