If you're lucky, it's just a loose screw. Open the door and look right above the latch mechanism (it's a gold cad plated box) towards the outer surface of the door. There is a rather large Phillips head screw which secures the latch to the door. I've had this happen to me, and I just pushed the handle firmly into the door and tightened the screw. You may want to back the screw out most of the way and apply a little Loctite 242 (the blue stuff, don't use the red 271) to the threads, and then tighten it up.
