I thought it would be easy enought to refill the hole with solder, but I was
wrong. I removed the plug earlier this evening and melted the old stuff out
with a torch, then filled with solder. After putting it back in, evacuating
the system for 30 min, then refilling I found it was still seeping out
slowly as I could see with soapy water. Guess I could have spared two hours
and had a new dryer ready to go for $35 from Adirondack. I guess learning
how to do this stuff over again is the half the fun.
