Ok guys,...I am not interested in magazine tests...since they are non-comparable and often doctored.
What I would like to know, is how the actual SPECS compare for the Kent 258's VS the new set from TT. I currently have a set of Kent 258's waiting to install, but I now have the opertunity to obtain a set of the TTs for a good deal. I have heard from a few people that the Kents are spec'd on a different scale, so I need someone who understands cams very well to compare them and explain any/all differences. I think they are measured at different lifts? Are the TT sets same rate for intake/exhaust? I know that Kent now switched their '258' set from the same to a split set,...but if I am not mistaken, they are using a larger INTAKE with a smaller exhaust, as opposed to the U.S. tuners who seem to like the larger exhaust- which DOES seem to make sense with the design of the exhaust ports. And please, no V'tex style comments of 'just get the Schrick splits'... Yes, they are high quality, but I have what I have already...just need to know if I should jump on this TT set while I have the chance... -Josh
