I bought a used cam that I thought was a euro intake, but the lobes appear
to be the same as the cam already in my car. Maybe a euro cam is already
in my car, or maybe this cam I bought is just a stock cam. Collin at tt
said the only way to know for sure is to measure the lift.

Here is what I measured with a micrometer

1.842" long way
1.493" short way
0.349" lift (long - short)

This is just .006" different from the us cam, per the tt web page
http://www.tttuning.com/cams.asp

The duration of the stock and euro cam is more than 180 degrees so I know
that my "short way" measurement is probably too big... Can someone
measure the lobe on one of their cams if you have a euro one sitting
around the house or shop? What is the proper way to measure lift anyway?
I only have micrometers to do the measuring.
