i'm gonna have to disagree with both of you, and back chad up here- aesthetics before performance? no way.
besides, i don't think the Sub Zeros look bad on an A2- there's a guy on vortex who posted pics of his recently-finished black jetta coupe 16v with them on, & i think they suit the hard-edged lines of our cars pretty well. chad, if you're willing to save up for a bit longer, i'd have a look at the SSR "Type-C"s... very expensive, approx. double the prices on what you're looking at; but the weight on their 15s is in the 9-lb range, and SSR doesn't make any wheels that aren't uber-high-quality. all of the above = JMO jason 1987 gti 2.0-16vM ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, August 17, 2002 4:42 PM Subject: Re: [A2-16v] light weight wheels > > In a message dated 8/17/02 3:14:48 PM, [email protected] writes: > > << I think all those wheels look like something one would find on a Honda or > Mitsubishi. No offense, but those wheels just don't go with an A2.
