Matthew, you're right about finding the pedals a bit long.
If you centre the cover the pedal then it's a bit too long.
I corrected that problem by mounting the cover a bit higher over the stock
pedal.
The pedal cover can still make contact with the carpet if I stand on the
clutch.

And the problem with the accelerator being lower than the brake can be fixed
by mounting some kind of riser to the accelerator then mount the cover on
top of that. I haven't done it, but it sounds like it could work.
