A "T" fitting is OK for pressure (wherever you decide to put it) but not for temperature. You'll want a flow of fluid going past a temp sensor, not have it in a "dead end". Incedentally, swapping the position of the sensors on the filter flange will buy you a little extra room. James Blumenfeld 87 GTI (should see 220,000 miles this week!)
