I removed the metal block and mounting ears from my subframe. I initially
noticed only a slight increase in vibration at highway speeds (60-65 mph) or
3000-3200 rpm. Additionally, it is now easier to remove and replace the R
axle.

Dunno. I left the block on, but have always wondered what difference
removing it would make. The only reason I can think of that it's there in
the first place is to change the resonant frequency of the drive train
vibrations. With all the things that have been changed on some of our
cars,
it could either help or hurt things. Just have to try it both ways, I
guess...
