Rich,
I believe all the A1 Auto's are the same and from what
I hear, they are "bullet proof" because they were
designed for a bigger car like an Audi or something. 
Anyway, I don't know much about them, but check out
the Mark1GTI list on Yahoo, I'm on it.

I bet someone on there will know.  It is basically a
