Although I think Adam might be a bit harsh with his words, I do have to
agree w/his underlying sentiment. I'd take the insurance cash and whatever
you can get from selling the damaged car and find yourself another clean
GLi. Swap your goodies onto the new car and be feeling good...and have more
style and uniqueness than those A3 guys :-).
Man, with the guy down in FL and Ryan in CA, I'm tempted to leave my
GLi in
the garage until next season. Some bad Karma for VWer of late.
I'll go back under my rock now,
Renard
PS-- someone PLEASE buy my B3 Passat interior!!!! Thank you.

Subject: [a2-16v-list] Re: [WWW.GLIREALM.COM] One answer to the mystery
as to how 16v's Die off.
Thats exactly how A2 16V's die off. :(
People who own them have unfortunate things like this happen, and instead of
have their cars restored, they part them out and buy a3's. [piss on that
idea] this spring my gli hit 180k miles, i sold it to a guy i knew who was
really into a2's.. and took the money and bought another GLi. thats the
right idea.
This is the JettaGLiRealm, not the JettaGLSRealm!!! and now you people are
suggesting that Ryan dump the A2 idea??
