Clutch cable failures are standard for watercooled VWs of most any vintage. Most die-hard VW drivers carry a spare b/c the cables break with alarming regularity. Beck Arnley is an aftermarket supplier - no better or worse than any other supplier except for some of the Japanese and Chinese aftermarket copies of aftermarket copies.
For $29, it's a clutch cable that works - buy a spare so you'll be able to fix it whenever the existing cable snaps. As for a Bosch replacement - I don't think there is such an animal. If there is and it costs more than $29 - don't waste your money. --- Adam Frank <[email protected]> wrote: > What do you guys think of Beck Arnley? is it going to get me by? or > should i be looking to buy a bosh cable asap? Let me know. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Faith Hill - Exclusive Performances, Videos & More http://faith.yahoo.com
