I long-ago converted to the non-a/c bracket on my car so I haven't had any problems breaking bolts off of the alternator. Now that I say this, I'm certain that the bolts are breaking quietly as the car sits in the trailer...
As Son states, if your a/c works, keep it - it's nice to have when it's 95 degrees with 95% humidity. If not and you're not willing to fix it, remove EVERYTHING - that means compressor, evaporator, condensor and hard-lines. Some folks seem to think that they've removed the a/c system by removing the compressor. While that removes the most weight, it doesn't do as much for the engine as it does to remove the condensor since that allows greater airflow. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
