I am getting very close to purchasing the Matrix 16v turbo kit ($2300, no intercooler). I was thinking of going with a stand alone engine mgmt and piecing the turbo together, but the cost would be closer to $3500 (no intercooler) and would be more time/effort to get everything working. I am especially concerned with the stock compression ratio used in the Matrix kit and the 90+ days with very high humidity I see here in Tampa, FL.
I really bought this car with a turbo in mind, so now that I have it running well the time has come to make my decision. I am hoping to get in touch with some people who have installed this kit to get their opinions. You all know of anyone I can talk with or email? All opinions welcome. Thanks. Chad
