Hello all, I am having a dispute with another guys insurance company. I was wondering if anyone knew if they every publishe the stock braking distances for a 91 gli. I know car & driver does it from 60 mph, but does anyone do it from a slower speed, say 25 or 30mph?
For those interested: Here is the deal. I am traveling down the road. This guy pulls out from a stop sign without looking(the snowbanks were high). I brake and swerve right, but still clip his back corner. Filled out all thier paperwork, and now they are covering it, but want to split the damage 60/40 saying I was somehow negligent due to the fact I hit his rear quater? What should I have done, hit him square in the door? Anyone have any advice for me? Next time I'm getting a lawer, cause the some ins. co's are scumbags.
