Thanks everyone for your responses on this topic. I think I'm going to
pass on the euro bumpers for two reasons... 1) the $200 set from RPI wont
fit a GLi and 2) it's not a direct bolt up deal, some tweaking required and
I'm not looking for that now.
As always, more valuable info here than Vortex....

well, the front golf one will work but as Im sure you know GLIs have a
longer rear bumper whos only source is VW Germany.
If you really want to do it expect to pay in excess of 600 for the bumpers.
(ask me how I know).
