Hello guys 
i might be able to get a rack and pinion in really good condition from a
vw mk2 turbo diesel engine really cheap. I know changing the rack and
pinion involves tearing down the whole transmision, but i wanted to know
if its a straight forward thing to do? I mean if nothing special aside
from the R&P is needed, etc. Anyway do any of you how many teeth does
the diesel R&P has?
