I have an 8V question.. Hope it's ok to post here.. Car in question is
an 87 GTI 8V stock motor. Im planning on doing a new exhaust becuase the
current one is riddled with rust holes. I probably will go with the TT
2.25" cat back. I hear rumors that you can put the 16V downpie on the 8V
motor and it will breathe a little better. Is there any truth to this
rumor? Do you need the 16V EM also?
Another question-- What wt. oil are folks in central california running
in the 8v or 16v cars? I just got the car, the book says 20-50? for a
warmer climate. Does that sound like what you guys are running?
