You also have to bend the same edge downward so it contacts the foot on
the Optima before the hold down bolt is all the way tight (it will be
way easier if you heat the bracket cherry red with a MAPP or Oxy-
Acetylene torch). That allows the bracket to press the foot of the
Optima down securely to the battery tray. You may be able to avoid
having to bend the bracket by using one of the adaptors (wing or puck
adaptors). Check
