first check your plugs and wires, try removing one plug wire at a time with 
the motor running, make sure you use insulated plyers or gloves, the 
spark/shock can really get ya, trace the missfire down to a cylinder and go 
from there, 
sounds like a bad wire/missfire to me though. when you find the bad cylinder 
the missfire/idle will stay the same when you remove the wire from that 
cylinder, if u dont find it, it could be a fuel problem
