Are you guys serious?
I really like the system I'm running on my Jetta now.
I'm running a non-mandrel bent straight through Dynamax muffler and no
resonator.
And from inside the car it's not that loud.
I think that the extra few feet of piping on the Jetta keep it quiter than
the GTI.

I when I had the resonator (multi chamber, not straight through)  it was
pretty quiet inside and outside the car.
But then it rusted through and I didn't want to buy a new one.
