Hello everybody,

I´ve seen there´s no much activity on this list anymore, anyway hope some of
you can give me some advice on building a fully race engine setup. My engine
right now is really strong build for street but im thinking on going racing
next season.

I would like to know for example brands, were to get the stuff, etc. 2.0 16v
9a engine.

Right now I have stock oil pump, oil windage tray, lightened & balanced
crankshaft, lightened & balanced flywheel, lightened and weight matched
stock rods, lightened and weight matched pistons, decked head, stock valves,
autotech valve springs, autotech cams, nology plugwires, 2 x 40´s mikunis
carbs, ram-flow free flowing air filters, MSD 6a, MSD timing computer, Accel
Super coil, header, free flow exhaust. The engine can rev up to 8,500 with
bigger carbs.

I was thinking of some underdrive pulleys (probably Unorthodox or something
else you might suggest), getting other oil pump with more volume (what
brand? Where to get it?), more aggressive cams (maybe kent, dr.
schrick)…what else? If any of you out there have stuff sitting on your
garage and willing to let it go would be awesome, down here in Peru you
can´t get real racing stuff unless you import it by yourself.

Les put some flavor back on this list again, All your advice is welcomed

Regards.

Francesco.
