Andrew -
Great to hear you solved the problem!
My GLI doesn't overheat or run hot, unless Im in stop-n-go traffic with the AC.. I might follow your lead and replace the radiator to aid in dropping these temps down..

On another note - Ive had this crazy passion to get another AWD turbo car.. Ive had a couple in the past. I drive about 140mi r/t and cross a mountain to get to work.. Winter plays hell in a fwd or rwd car alot, as far as getting back/forth to work. The AWD didnt make me invincible, just a little more at ease with the trip..

Ive found a '92 Talon TSI with the right mods and decent mileage that I may look into getting. The catch is - I'd have to sell my 67k mile '90 GLI 16v in order to get it. If I decide to take this route - I'll let you guys know, in case any of you may be interested.. It's T-Red, Bilstein suspension, BBS RMs, perfect interior, quad headlight setup, TT cat-back, yadda yadda. Price is yet to be determined and it will not be parted out..
