Still have my '88 GLi; Turned 136,000 about a week ago. She runs great,
needs a few things. Time for some maintenance- I think she'll need a new
clutch soon. Still haven't figured out the bumpy idle problem. I've got a
few oil leaks, from the oil pan gasket(replaced it once, do they make a
rubber gasket for these?), and around the oil intercooler(I think). And
just as it's gotten colder around here, my blower is now become quite
bothersome- very noisy, time for a replacement, methinks. Anyone ever
have a problem with shifting into 1st? I'll have to check the bushings.
