OK, now I'm seriously salivating for some of this stuff even though the sane half of my brain says "NOOOOOOOO!"
Do any of us know anyone with a 16v VW that is successfully using MegaSquirt. I remember seeing a cheap GTi on Craigslist not too long ago with MegaSquirt... I recall it was cheap because the bugs weren't worked out of his MS setup before he fried his engine. How much HP can be gained by using MS??? And that European fuel injection... is it just the fuel distributor that's making the extra 5-8% more HP? Or is it related to the size of the air inlet hole? Odd that it doesn't use an oxygen sensor.
