I've always had luck with those sold by Craftsman but do have quite a few
Snap-On & SK items. I've found that the key to preventing stripping is
dependent on two things: 1) that the tool is in perfect condition, no rounded
edges on the bit, and 2) that the recess in the bolt is thoroughly cleaned out
so the bit can bottom out when inserted, especially on driveshaft bolts. Your
"tools" for the job at hand should also include a good, strong cleaner
(Brak-Cleaner, carb cleaner, or similar ones), a very small flat blade
screwdriver or pick to run around the inside of the bit receptacle to dig out
the crap and a healthy supply of Q-Tips to do the final clean up. When
replacing them, a small drop of LocTite Blue (medium strength) will help in the
future should they have to removed again.

I've got a set of four 12 point (triple square) for driveshafts, head bolts,
etc. an extensive set of metric Allen bits, and a set of Torx bits. Good
luck.......Jack

What brand Hex bit sets do you guys like that don't strip things and do a good
job? Need to get a good set before I strip something..

What other bit sets do you find handy to have on hand?
