Sucks that most of the good brand tools are not sold online, where do you even
buy SnapOn tools - flag down one of those trucks - forget that. I just ordered
those Bondhus bits and some LocTite and I get it at my door tomorrow - can't
beat that.

Someone should put together the ultimate Amazon bought tool kit for your Mk2
16V with links to all the tools from Amazon.

If someone wants to share a list of their ultimate toolkit, I am happy to do
the Amazon research to try to dig up all the Amazon links to each one.

Maybe a beginner, intermediate and advance section to the ultimate toolkit
would be useful.

Just a thought,

-
Larry

For sockets just be sure to use the 6 sides sockets instead of the 12 sided
sockets to reduce the chance of stripping a bolt head. I don't think I use any
brand names that are worthy of mentioning. My most recognized brand of tools
in my box are craftsman.

If bolts are stuck, work them back and forth, apply heat, apply penetrating
oil, tap on them with a hammer, etc. Don't try to force them out with brute
force :)
