My own toolbox evolved from aircooled into watercooled. Now with the addition
of a 2012 Jetta and A4 Audi, it's evolved even more.

Stuff I saw immediately to add to the list
1 Dremel tool to cut off those permanent crimp on hose clamps used by the
Factory
2. Flywheel locking tool
3. Schley Bearing press tool (This paid for itself the first time I used it.
but I understand it is much more expensive than when I first bought it)
4. Plastic body panel pry tools.
5 Harbor Freight Engine Support bar

I used to think the Bentley was an essential. But I'm now finding the Internet
Forums and Youtube far more detailed and informative. I recently broke the tabs
off the rear taillight because the Bentley instructed me to pivot the taillight
out and away after removing the mounting screw. It didn't tell me that other
end of the light is a ball inserted into a socket. Broke those tabs off
following the instructions in the Bentley. I should have checked with Youtube
and watched someone else do it first.

I'm sure I'll think of more specialty tools. I've fabricated a few of my own
such as boost leak tools made from Home Depot PVC
