Usually after a few hours of rain I would often find water pooled in the
trunk of my Jetta.  I took the carpet out many years ago so this wasn't a
big deal.  I would just put a towel in there to soak it up whenever I
remembered.  The car is normally parked in my driveway at a slight incline
so the puddle flows to the rear of the trunk area.  I drilled a small hole
to let the water drain.

I think the water is coming in from the rear window seal and I really don't
want to have the window and seal replaced.  Maybe it won't be too costly -
haven't even checked.

I'd like to say I fixed the leak but I think an argument can be made that I
didn't do that :)
