Usually after a few hours of rain I would often find water pooled in the trunk of my Jetta. I took the carpet out many years ago so this wasn't a big deal. I would just put a towel in there to soak it up whenever I remembered. The car is normally parked in my driveway at a slight incline so the puddle flows to the rear of the trunk area. I drilled a small hole to let the water drain.
I think the water is coming in from the rear window seal and I really don't want to have the window and seal replaced. Maybe it won't be too costly - haven't even checked. I'd like to say I fixed the leak but I think an argument can be made that I didn't do that :) _______________________________________________ a2-16v-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.a2-16v.com/mailman/listinfo/a2-16v-list For list archives, see listinfo link above.
