No problem - that's one of the great things about osm/mkgmap is that
people can adjust it to make maps they find useful.

I wonder if adding support to put larger buildings at lower-numbered
levels makes sense.  And suppressing lots of small buildings in dense
areas, similar to the USGS "house omission tint".  (I know, ENOPATCH :-)

[I am still trying to get maps of mass made, and my first step after
that is to tweak unnamed buildings down in importance or out.]
