Hi A very good question and had to check it myself.
The answer is yes ... but Basecamp & Mapsource respond differently. You can , it seems, insert a carriage return but the tooltiptext (bubble) in Basecamp will only be one line which means the rest of the text will appear below . Interestingly, it automatically places the first letter in Ucase and the rest in lower case. Mapsource no problem. This begs the question : will it work on your Garmin device?
