The TYP carriage return  only works for elements which haven't been named in
a style sheet.

This is because a TYP file's text gets ignored if an element points to a
label in the LBL. 

I also suspect that carriage return characters cannot be inserted when
naming elements,due to the way mkgmaps' labels are parsed -  although Steve
should know.

So, unless you create your own 'maps' (not based on osm) ,assign a unique
type number to your polygon & add your label with carriage returns to the
TYP file, I don't think it will work.
