HI Gerd, here is a patch to improve the diagnostics output by echotags when mkgmap has created copies of data for internal processing. Currently the original OSM Id is lost when the data is copied. This small patch retains the original Id when elements are copied. There is no change to the map output.
Please give this a try and commit if all is OK. I also suggest that the toBrowseURL and getDebugName functions in Element.java be changed to use originalId instead of id - does that seem sensible to you? Thanks, Mike
