For symbols of power he could use:
A tower to symbolise his Black Citadel the seat of his power.
A crown to state his ambition to rule all he surveys.
A slain stallion if he was feeling petty at the time of creating his symbol.
Maybe something to show his magical prowess. I’m not sure how that would be
conveyed though.
Also for heraldry it is coming to incorporate elements of the heraldry from
territories under his control.
