I totally understand your point and I've always try to make sure the story itself can survive being translated into a "TV version."
But since, for a few people, the mere appearance of a homosexual before the curse was laid upon him made Wheeler's story too adult for MK, I've decided to ignore all this concern. You'll recall, once finished and satisfied with my version of the story, I would work on a cannon version story. In this case, I will have to wait 6 months. Explicitness, you might recall also, does not always equal smut. I've written smut, too, so I know. In this case, I am playing with the TG curse on a hardened soldier, but it's only one pivotal scene. I could have written it less explicitly (I will, in fact, rewrite it less so later, barring another episode of an extended stay of hiding beneath my bed), but I wanted the impact of how the counter curse could be used. Not looking to change MK into anything but what it is. And, if you have any stats or articles about people discovering Fifty Shades of Grey and then making their way into Twilight I would serious love to see those, because I am a curious pony. Anyway, I guess this is a good time to announce that The Good Sport, also a MK story with same sex attraction and blood and death, will be in An Anthropomorphic Century this fall/winter.
