Hi,

I've been using MLT 0.7.3 from GIT and recently built 0.7.4 to test for
packaging in AV Linux 5.0 (based on debian Squeeze). The configure and
build of 0.7.4 went flawlessly and all wanted modules were built. After
installation of 0.7.4 both Kdenlive 0.8 and Openshot 1.3.1 were both
having difficulties relating to a missing SDL module, however the module
was present in the built package, and is presumably actually present on
the system.

Kdenlive was kind enough to fail to launch and complain about the missing
module and Openshot would launch but freeze up and fail to display any
timeline content in the viewer.

A search of the Kdenlive forum netted this thread which seems to describe
the problem as relating to melt -query and stdin and stdout.

Is there a workaround for this? Or does it require an MLT patch?

My sincere thanks for your continued efforts!
