Finally I am able to compile MLT with your suggestion, Thanks *Dan.*
I have a small query regarding *avformat consumer.*
I am using MELT to joiin two clips. like this
*melt -join clips v1.mp4 v2.mp4 -consumer avformat vcodec=libx264
acodec=aac b=1000k >join_out.mp4*

It successfully produced a file and when I try to play the file in
Chrome,FFplay, I am unable to see Video
I used FFmpeg to re-encode it ,then It worked for me
Can some one help me.
*Where am I going wrong? Is it my syntax.*
It would be great If I able to use MELT alone to join N video clips.
