This is a very visual task that requires a visual tool in my opinion. Once you have the parameter values you need, then you can go back to the command line. The fact that frei0r requires ALL numeric parameters to be in the range [0,1.0] means it can be very difficult because you need to understand the mapping from that range to actual underlying value in terms of the implementation of that plugin.
