Ah, nice to know, thanks for the information!
I remember that kdenlive and/or mlt used the ffmpeg binary (in the 
past). I currently have not access to my Linux desktops, so I can not 
check the current status, so is there anything I have to change at the 
most up to date mlt and kdenlive packages to support this transition?
