hello, i recently got a very low budget (less then 50 euros) HDMI video
capture card (and HDMI output) from TimeLeak (a chinese productor).

This is the card:
http://www.velocaps.com/en/Product.aspx?id=597

Seems that they are planning some kind of linux support and the chipset
(SAA7160) is in early support stage by the comunity.

this the lspci -vvnn:

08:00.0 Multimedia controller [0480]: Philips Semiconductors SAA7160
[1131:7160] (rev 03)
    Subsystem: Philips Semiconductors Device [1131:0002]
Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr-
Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx-
    Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort-
<MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx-
Latency: 0, Cache Line Size: 64 bytes
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 11
    Region 0: Memory at f6100000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=1M]
    Capabilities: <access denied>

Now the question is:
When those cards will be supported by linux drivers could we hope in a
TimeLeak "consumer" like the Decklink one, to send ML rendered video/audio
to the hdmi output of those cards?

It will be very apreciated by the poor coders like me :D

Cheers.

PS: Dan, at this price i can donate a HD72B card to MLT project owner to
help developing ;-)
